AllOne Foundation & Charities (AOF&C) officially launched its 10th anniversary celebration on Friday, March 21, with a hands-on community service project and a special announcement at the Hazleton Integration Project. The event highlighted AllOne’s continued commitment to improving the health and well-being of communities across northeastern and north central Pennsylvania, while showcasing a philanthropic model unlike any other in the region. The day began with a volunteer meal preparation initiative in partnership with Soul Kitchen, where AllOne staff, community partners, Penn State Hazleton students, and volunteers worked side by side to prepare meals for local residents. The act of service underscored AllOne’s core belief: that collaborative, community-driven philanthropy creates real, measurable change. “We at AllOne Foundation and Charities could not think of a more perfect way to launch our 10th anniversary celebration,” John W. Cosgrove, Chief Executive Officer of AOF&C, said at the event. “This hands-on service project reflects exactly what we stand for: showing up, working together, and investing in the health and wellness of the communities we call home.” Then, AllOne leadership shared plans for the organization’s next chapter and reflected on a decade of impact. Since grantmaking began in 2016, AOF&C has awarded nearly $50 million through 1,153 grants to 404 nonprofit organizations. These address urgent needs in behavioral health, healthcare access, food security, special needs services, substance use disorder recovery, and workforce development. “We’ve distributed $46.5 million in nine years, but what we can’t really measure — what we can’t really see in all those numbers — are the lives that have been positively impacted by those resources, “Cosgrove added. “The dollars are one thing; the people behind the dollars are another thing altogether.” Bob Curry, Founding President of the Hazleton Integration Project (HIP), expressed his deep appreciation for AOF&C during the kickoff of their 10th anniversary celebration. Reflecting on a nine-year partnership, Curry noted that HIP was one of the very first recipients of an AllOne grant – an honor the organization holds with great pride. “We work with many granting organizations, but there is none more committed than AllOne,” Curry said. From serving 550 meals each month through its Soul Kitchen program to providing more than 700,000 meals since its inception – as well as offering vital pre-K and after-school programming – Curry emphasized that HIP’s impact is only possible because of support from partners like AllOne. “We can have the best ideas and the strongest community ties, but without the backing of organizations like AllOne, our hands would be tied,” he added. That sentiment was echoed throughout the evening, which reflected on the foundation’s decade of service. The March 21 event was the first in a year-long series of initiatives planned to honor AllOne’s impact and spotlight the organizations it supports. From frontline nonprofits like HIP to regional healthcare systems, AllOne’s strategic grantmaking has empowered hundreds of organizations to expand their reach and deepen their impact across Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania. “It hasn’t stopped in 10 years, and it won’t,” Cosgrove said. “Every year, our board works to answer two questions: Where do the resources come from, and how can we best invest them to maximize impact?
